1/ First you have to write down all of the benefits a person would get by coming to your web site. Let’s say your website is all about promoting your website, and it has a lot of valuable content, some of the benefits would be;
2/ Add some action to the benefits, using action verbs.
3/ This is the start of your headline, very much in rough form. Now what you do is take each phrase and write it down many times, making slight changes. Maybe adding more action, maybe changing the wording completely.
4/Work on each list until you have as many headlines as possible. Now pick out two or three that sound the best to you. Now comes the time to test them.
5/ Testing the headlines is relatively easy. You develop a separate landing page for each headline, so that you can keep track of what works best. Next you post the ads to yahoo free ads, or anyplace you have advertised before, and had good results.
6/ Decide which three headlines work best for you. Use them for all your ads. Slightly change the ad each different place you post it so it doesn’t get discounted as spam.
