Pick out the keywords that you think will best pertain to your business. Go to
Adwords.google .com/select/KeywordExternal
You feed in your keywords or phrases, and it will tell you how often your keywords were searched on. It will also give you a list of alternate or alike keywords. It will show you how often they got searched on. It may surprise you.
At this point you might want to change your keywords, or add to them. Your choice. But now you know what keywords get searched the most.
In order for this to work the best, you place one and only one key phrase per page. Do not use a whole list of keywords. Do not get lost in the noise.
OK You place your key phase, and the words it breaks down into, on the page. This will become the focal point of the page. You will enter it;
When doing a word count your keyword should make up 5% of the content. An example If your page had 500 words, then about 25 of them should be your keyword or phrase.
Everyone knows that pictures and images them selves don’t mean anything to a search engine. But you can change that, just by adding an alt tag to your image line. This could help you reach your goal of 5% keyword content.
And remember, linking is very important to a website when it is done right. You should always try to put your keywords or phases into the anchor text.
Take your time and create good keyword rich content.
