You could build the most beautiful website ever, but without website traffic, it is a waste. Did you know that over 60% of websites out there get less than 10 visits a day? How many sales do you think you would make in a day with only 10 visitors? It wouldn’t even cover your costs and time.
So, it is up to you to work on different methods to improve your website traffic. There are many different methods to do this, so you have to work out a nice balance between the different methods, to get the maximum benefit from your website traffic program.
One of these methods is back linking. Back linking is when another website links to yours. They could do this for a number of reasons.
One over looked way to get website traffic to your site, is to offer testimonials. That’s right testimonials. You can even stick to higher ranked sites. If you come across one that you really like, or you find really educational, don’t be afraid to approach the Webmaster with a testimonial.
The testimonial does not have to be much. You could just describe what you like about their website. Or you could include a brief description of their website. Either way, make sure that it is flattering, and that it includes your signature file.
Don’t just go out and offer testimonials to any site with a high PR rank. Look over the site really well. Does it complement your site? And remember, this is your name, and reputation going on this testimonial. You don’t want to be linked to a bad site, or to a site with something shady going on.
So study the site. Make surer it is good enough to be linked from. Really work on the testimonial. You want the other Webmaster to post it. If he posts it, you have a good link to your site. And a good link means more traffic.
